About the work we do

For domestic projects we offer a tailored service at a fixed-fee, bucking the trend of traditional architectural services. Your preliminary design visit is absolutely free of charge. Once we have an idea of your needs, we'll send you a fixed-price quote. If you're happy to proceed then we'll ask for 50% upfront to begin your project. Projects such as extensions, conversions and new builds normally include initial design sketches to achieve the design that you want. When you're happy with a proposed design scheme we'll get to work on what's needed to get that all-important local authority approval. When you're happy with the final design proposal we'll request a final payment before submitting your documents via the government's approved online portal.

Each project is different and, as such, will require a bespoke group of services. All quotes are needs-based and produced to ensure maximum quality and to meet statutory requirements.
Starki Architectural requests expressions of interest from commercial clients through our commercial enquiry page. We also bid for projects which fall into our specialisms, and link with organisations to assist in their Approved Framework of Professional Services Providers.

Simply put, we strive to combine good architecture, urban design and visualisation with technical know-how and efficient project management.

We Are Design Led

We explore several design options based on a strategic brief to establish an agreed design based on a developed brief with you. We are proficient in the use of Autodesk software, working toward being a BIM (Building Information Management) only practice within 3 years. You have every opportunity to make your wishes known up to the point when a contractor has been appointed and construction is ready to start.

We do not impose our ideas on you. Instead we allow you the freedom to shape your ideas throughout the design process.

We Are Managers

For many, design and construction is perceived as a challenging, if not daunting process. This is why we inform on the management process of the construction journey and assist you in adopting a strategy that will maximise the expertise of the design and construction team. It is their job after all to collaboratively translate your vision into reality whilst lifting the burden of the project as much as we can from your shoulders.

We help you understand the process, appoint a design team, manage your project throughout its lifecycle, obtain competitive tenders, and administrate construction contracts, as necessary, to lead to a successfully completed project.

We Are Driven By Sustainability

We will encourage you to think about how to apply sustainable principles to your project and to be aware of the architectural context and the sense of place that will be affected by your project. Approaching the project in this way with guarantee you a smooth ride with your project and on completion, an attractive, sustainable building design which will add value immediately and continue to add value over time.
