Crowd Flow Management Strategies at the Swansea.com Stadium

We recommended crowd flow management and wayfinding strategies to Swansea City AFC to use at their home ground, the Swansea.Com Stadium in Landore, Swansea.

Existing provisions allowed fans entering and exiting the stadium to walk across the North car park, which is not a right of way. This, coupled with the close proximity to the away fan compound called for a strategic approach for directing visitors to the stadium via a planned route which allows for safe and effective travel on foot.

The new installation required planning permission. As such, we developed plans, elevations, and details to satisfy the requirements in the context of installing a positive addition to the stadium in the interest of safety and compliance.
