The Redevelopment of St Helen’s Rugby Ground, Swansea

We recommended professional design considerations for the redevelopment of St Helen’s Rugby Ground to interested parties, which included 3D visualisations of facilities and Masterplanning Services.

The Masterplan incorporates a suite of new and existing facilities, utilising existing stands to retain the rich heritage of the site, while introducing new structures to accommodate the needs of a frequently used venue with the prospect of a shared professional sports facility.

As part of the Masterplan, our advice hints the development of the existing stadium site to include a 4G playing surface and new entry and exit points. To enhance the matchday experience and out-of-season provisions, a hotel and multi-storey car park with rooftop conference facilities overlooking the stadium and Swansea Bay was proposed.
